Hey there, I'm Lizzie Lou!!
My love for photography started in Utah, where I was born & raised. In Utah, beauty always finds a way to surround you.
Growing up, my hands always reached for my family's digital camera. I used to take silly photos of flowers and trees. It wasn't until my sophomore year of high school that I found love in taking pictures of my friends and family and leading my high school broadcasting department. I felt drawn to confidence and smiles when I turned around the camera. I borrowed my teacher's camera on weekends/some weekdays (Shoutout to Mr. Miller!) I began taking photos of my friends all day on Saturdays. What started as a small photo and calligraphy business, turned into a blooming solo photography business.
My life belongs here and I could not be more thankful I am where I am.
I have a real passion, and I am so glad I have the privilege of sharing it every time my camera clicks.
"I feel so unnatural getting my photo taken."
You have NO idea how much I get that comment. And let me tell you, that should NEVER hold you back from booking a photo session!
Growing up, I always had a way of making friends and getting people to share and get out of their shells. And let me tell you, I don’t believe that has left my soul yet…
One thing that people have said to me MULTIPLE times was “wait…that wasn’t as bad as I thought” and I’ll be honest, your photographer is the make or break. You don’t want to shoot with someone who looks at you funky when you give your real smile or laugh…(been there 🙋♀️)
One thing I will vouch for until I die is the aspect that a photographer HAS to be a good fit for you, but the photographer also has to feel the same.
That’s why, when you book with me, you get a personalized experience and you can get what you want (I hope)
When you book with me, I promise you can expect; personalized poses, lots of jokes, a good conversation, and someone who has been in the spotlight of the camera and understands the process.
I have met so many new wonderful returning clients who return because they feel very relaxed around me…(probably because I talk a LOT)
But let me tell you, awkward is normal. Everyone is awkward. My job is to make people feel confident, and if I fail at that during our session, I’ve failed at doing my job. My job isn’t just being a photographer, it’s being a pose queen, a hype girl, a friend, & a social butterfly.
I would absolutely love to work with you, don’t be shy!!
